Breakout interest sessions
Friday, November 6 & Saturday, November 7, 2020
The theme this year is "Our Work as Counselors." Idaho counselors work with diverse clients using many innovative approaches. We are asking you to submit a conference proposal that highlights your areas of expertise. We would like you to share your knowledge and experiences of new and effective practices, overcoming challenges of working with clients in rural and urban areas, or best practices when working with various populations across the state.
Idaho Counseling Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 2013. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Idaho Counseling Association is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
All presenters agree to register for the 2020 conference, November 6th & 7th, 2020 at regular rate time of registration or at daily rate on day of presentation.
Deadline for proposal submission is June 28, 2020
Program Coordinator will send notification of accepted proposals by July 31, 2020
All rooms are set up with projector and screen. It is the presenters responsibility to provide computer, connection cables from laptop to projector, and any audio equipment needed, including speakers. ICA is not responsible for and does not purchase microphones for breakout sessions.
Presenters agree to the possibility of videotaping and photography of presentation for ICA marketing needs. Presenters will provide copy of presentation materials to ICA Conference Committee per NBCC regulations. Presenters with handouts should come prepared with at least 50 handouts to be distributed to attendees. Presenters will receive a summary of evaluations of presentation within 60 days of the completion of the conference.
Submission of the proposal submission form means no additional changes need to be made to program. You will receive a copy of your proposal via email.
