Graduate Student Poster Presentations

Program Coordinator will send notification of accepted proposals by October 20, 2019
Presenters agree to the possibility of videotaping and photography of presentation for ICA marketing needs.
ALL PRESENTERS AGREE TO REGISTER FOR 2019 CONFERENCE.
Submission of this form means no additional changes need to be made to program.

Participation in our Graduate Student Poster Presentations allows opportunity for current research to be evaluated and displayed as well as to receive feedback from professionals across the state. This is a poster competition for graduate and doctoral level students.
*NOTE: Submission of this proposal constitutes acceptance of all conditions and terms listed below, INCLUDING A REQUIREMENT OF CONFERENCE REGISTRATION.
**Please, no more than 4 presenters per poster presentation.**
Every participant will be recognized at the awards luncheon, but there are also three categories from which participants can be awarded. You will be judged according to three categories of awards:

The Idaho Counseling Association will grant ten (10) awards. The award will include registration to the 2019 Conference. Please see details of scholarship application below. Please note that individuals who receive the scholarship are expected to volunteer for the 2019 conference.

The Idaho Counseling Association believes that the best way to grow the profession is to nurture and develop leaders from within the association. This Scholarship offers the opportunity to get an inside look at the association and become an essential part of the organization.
The Idaho Counseling Association will grant ten (10) awards. The award will include registration to the 2019 Conference.
Two (2) Emerging Leader Graduate Students from each of the Following Universities:
Boise State University
Idaho State University
Northwest Nazarene University
University of Idaho
Two (2) Emerging Leader Counseling Professionals
Graduate Students must be a current ICA member and enrolled in a masters of counseling program at one of the 4 qualifying universities.
Counseling Professional must hold a current ICA professional membership.
Recipients are expected to take on a level of service with the Idaho Counseling Association.
Recipients are expected to volunteer at the ICA Conference.
Recipients are expected to attend the ICA Leadership Development Institute.
Recipients are expected to become an active participant in an ICA Committee.
