Idaho Counseling Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 2013.  Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.  Idaho Counseling Association is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. 

Our Pre-Conferences are 4-hour sessions occurring throughout the day on Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7. Pre-Conference requires separate registration for each session you would like to attend. Simply click the link below in schedule to begin registration.

PreConferences are separate registration from main conference days. 

Our main conference days are Friday & Saturday, and you can see register for that here. When you register for Friday & Saturday, all keynotes, breakouts, and lunch are included. See the schedule for Friday & Saturday here.

Pre-Conference Learning Institute Proposal Details 

Pre-Conference Sessions are four hours in length, and will take place on Wednesday, November 6 & Thursday, November 7, 2019

Presenters must provide contact information, program title, abstract, summary, and 3-4 learning objectives of presentation. 

If you are presenting a program to provide ethics CEs, the program title, abstract, summary, and learning objectives must reflect that. 

Deadline for proposal submission is July 15, 2019

Program Coordinator will send notification of accepted proposals by July 31, 2019

All rooms are set up with projector and screen.  

It is the presenters responsibility to provide computer, connection cables from laptop to projector, and any audio equipment needed, including speakers. 

ICA is not responsible for and does not purchase microphones for pre-conference sessions.  

Presenters agree to the possibility of videotaping and photography of presentation for ICA marketing needs. 

Presenters agree to provide copy of presentation materials to ICA Conference Committee per NBCC requirements. 

Presenters with handouts should come prepared with at least 50 handouts to be distributed to attendees. 

Presenters will receive a summary of evaluations of presentation within 60 days of the completion of the conference.

Submission of proposal form means no additional changes need to be made to program.
