Integrated Behavioral Health: Professional Pathways, Practice Development and Application for Counselors

Program will present information on operational organization and maintenance of evidence based integrated behavioral health programs, clinical instruction and application of effective treatment modalities in integrated settings, unique workforce opportunities and challenges for professional counselors, concluding with panel discussion with Licensed Professional Counselors currently delivering integrated behavioral health services.
Learning Objectives
1. Explain integrated behavioral health services in primary care settings and why these services are important for overall population health. 2. Understand basic elements of the evidence base Primary Care Behavioral Health Model (PCBH) 3.Comprehend operational strategies to implement and maintain an effective PCBH program 4. Learn and practice clinical elements and application of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in an integrated behavioral health setting. 5. Experience perspectives from other Licensed Counselors currently working in integrated behavioral health
