Jennifer “Ginger” Rogers, LCPC, NCC, C-DBT, EMDR-C is a licensed clinical professional counselor and trauma-focused therapist specializing in DBT, EMDR, as well as complex trauma and dissociation work. As the owner and lead clinician of her private practice, she brings over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through evidence-based care that emphasizes structure, compassion, and lasting change. Ginger’s work aligns closely with the organization’s mission to expand access to high-quality mental health services and strengthen community well-being. She serves on the board to help promote ethical, sustainable, and client-centered practices across the mental-health landscape.
Lettie Stradley-Bass, LCPC operates a private telehealth practice. Her work emphasizes trauma resolution through holistic interventions informed by neuroscience. Lettie also volunteers as a mental health resource for Chaplains of Idaho, believing that service to the community is a privilege. Her involvement at a leadership level in the ICA has provided her with the opportunity to develop connections and serve in a way that impacts the counseling community more broadly.
Brian Smith, LCPC is owner and sole practitioner at his private practice where he works with couples struggling with relationship problems, and individuals with a history of trauma or who are having difficulty with attachment related distress. He is committed to the counseling field with a focus on enhancing client development, and enacts his core value of service by promoting the counseling profession through his involvement with ICA. Brian is a former President of the association and currently a Board Member-at-Large.
Geianne Choate, M.Ed., M.S., LCPC-S, NCC brings 35 years of experience in Idaho education and mental health to her work as a clinician, educator, and speaker. Her career spans higher education and K–12 systems as a school counselor and adjunct faculty at Northwest Nazarene University, in graduate-school counseling courses.Since 2003, Geianne has owned and operated Perspectives Wellness, providing clinical mental health services through her Twin Falls office, telehealth, and equine-assisted psychotherapy at her ranch in Castleford. While individual therapy has been central to her practice, she is a speaker and facilitator, offering workshops, motivational seminars, and therapeutic groups focused on resilience, connection, and mental wellness. In December, she began contracting with the Idaho Department of Education to support Idaho Youth Suicide Prevention Programs.
Justin Highhouse, licensed professional counselor, is a graduate of Boise State University and Ithaca College. With a background in human resources and outdoor adventure leadership, he excels in navigating personal and professional challenges through a blend of nature-based therapy, parts work, cognitive and behavioral techniques, and solution-focused strategies. Justin has always been a natural leader whom people seek out for guidance and support. He is grateful to serve on the ICA Board of Directors for the 2026 slate and continues as the Development Committee Chair offering his effective analytical and administrative skills.
Kayla Salisbury, LPC, is the founder of her mental health agency in rural Idaho, where she provides counseling and neurofeedback services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She holds master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Early Childhood Special Education and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology. Her professional background includes experience in Head Start, state case management, behavioral health operations training, special education, and private practice. Kayla is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and has specialized interests in neurodevelopment, trauma, family systems, and developmental differences. As both a counselor and parent advocate, she is committed to expanding access to quality mental health care and strengthening support for individuals and families in rural Idaho communities.
Shauna Smith, MS, CCC-SLP has been a practicing speech-language pathologist since 2005, working across a variety of settings and currently serving as the sole proprietor of a part-time private practice. She spent 14 years in academia as a departmental administrator and clinical professor, training graduate clinicians in both classroom and clinical settings with populations that align with her current practice. Shauna has presented nationally, regionally, and locally as an expert on concussion/mild TBI and other rehabilitation-related topics, emphasizing a functional, patient-centered approach. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Idaho Counseling Association and is deeply committed to ICA’s mission and facilitating the association's goals of professional advocacy for mental health care providers and access to care within the community.
