8:00am - 12:00pm

1:00 - 5:00pm

This 15-hour presentation is designed for counselors who plan to become credentialed supervisors.  Supervision is an essential part of counselor training and supervisors must engage in informed practice to support the growth of their supervisees and the continued strength of the profession.  The presentation will cover the fundamentals of clinical supervision, including models and formats of supervision, types of supervision, and approaches to assessment and evaluation. Ethical and multicultural considerations will be integrated throughout the presentation.  The presentation will include dyadic instruction, discussion, case vignettes, and experiential learning activities that provide participants an opportunity to apply content in pairs or small groups.
Attendees will be provided the necessary theory, application, and experiential practice to translate these important themes into the supervisory experience.
