Counseling Autistic Individuals

As there are many more autistic individuals that need mental health treatment than there are therapists/counselors willing/able to serve them, this session is meant to educate and empower professionals to treat this population.  

 Learning Objectives: 

1. Attendees will be guided through a summary of recent literature highlighting the significant societal challenges experienced by autistic adults.
2. Attendees will explore various evidence based treatment approaches.
3. Attendees will apply treatment approaches to case study examples.
